The USS Kidd was hit by Kamakaze fire during the war and made it home. To tell its history it is now open as a museum on the Mississippi in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My friends Dan and Nancy and I got a private tour from George Seal from Atlanta, Georgia. We toured the ship from tip top down in the bowels of the ship including the engine room. Very interesting and very historical.
